Conçues pour les températures très froides, les chaussettes imperméables MOUNTANIA sont équipées d’une membrane imperméable, respirante et coupe-vent. Cette membrane empêche l'eau d'atteindre la peau, mais permet à la transpiration de s'évacuer.
Elles sont hautes jusqu'à mi-mollets. Petite sœur du modèle TREK-LIGHT, la MOUNTANIA se distingue par son molleton interne renforcé en laine mérinos. Elles sont donc plus épaisses et plus chaudes. La couche interne en laine mérinos assure un confort optimal et une bonne régulation de la température.

Are waterproof socks breathable ?
Yes. The inner membrane is a waterproof and breathable technology. In addition, the inner layer is made of bamboo fibers or merino wool (depending on the model), two very effective materials for wicking away perspiration.
Not too thick?
No. Even if the waterproof socks are slightly thicker than classic socks (because they are made on 3 thin layers), this small difference in thickness is not particularly noticeable once the socks are on your feet.
For blisters ?
Keeping your feet dry is generally a good thing to limit the risk of blisters. Also, waterproof socks are seamless and therefore limit the friction that can create blisters.
Can water enter from the top of waterproof socks ?
Nous conseillons de porter le pantalon ou collant par dessus la chaussette en cas de fortes projections d'eau ou de fortes pluies, pour empêcher l'entrée d'eau par le haut de la chaussette.
